***HELP REQUESTED***
If you’ve ever used a room at the Buxton Methodist Church or appreciate having such facilities in the town centre, please show your support for the building – it’s in need of urgent repairs.
Letters/comments of support are requested for funding applications. More info below…

How important is it that we repair our roof?!
You may have noticed buckets collecting rainwater in our hallways and even in the upper room and main hall, particularly after Storm Eunice last weekend. We are making a number of applications for grant funding towards the costs of repairs and need your help in identifying our priorities, given limited budgets.
Please message us or email our Finance Committee Chair, Kate MacLean (director@creative-heritage.net), to let us have your views ASAP. (There’s some questions below you could consider.)
Thank you!
What do you use Buxton Methodist Church for?
Does the appearance of our building make a difference to you or your users?
Is it off-putting, or even dangerous, when we have buckets out to collect rainwater?
Have you been inconvenienced because of the deteriorating condition of our premises?
As our budget is limited, where do you think we should focus expenditure?
Would you like to know more about the repair work we are proposing to undertake?
Would you like to know more about the history of our building?
Do you have skills that you would be prepared to put to use in our campaign to make our building more welcoming and weathertight?
Is there anything else we should know, that might help us make a case to grant funders?
