Buxton Field Club’s next talk:
Tea and Tigers – Wildlife in Rural India and Nepal – Steve Price
Saturday 30th October 7.00pm (on zoom for members, youtube livestream non-members)
Over the past decade Steve Price and his wife have holidayed in India and Nepal on four occasions. During these visits they resided mostly with rural communities and this gave them a great opportunity to experience the variety and richness of the wildlife of the hugely contrasting habitats found in this vast sub-continent. This talk will share with you some of the typical wildlife seen and perhaps be permitted to dwell a little on some of their top wildlife highlights.
Steve Price is keen on wildlife: in the UK lichens are of special interest, but basically anything that moves, breathes, grows, runs or stands still is worthy of study.
