Buxton Field Club talks are starting again Saturday 16th October at 7.00pm with
Why did the hedgehog cross the road?
Hugh Warwick is an author, ecologist, spokesperson for the BHPS and Visiting Fellow at Oxford Brookes University. https://www.hughwarwick.com/books/
His illustrated talk will answer the question of why the hedgehog had to cross the road, and will go on to explain how our tendency to fragment the landscape has had such a catastrophic impact on the ability of the nation’s favourite animal to thrive. There will also be jokes and solutions, so don’t worry about it being too depressing!
If you’re a paid up member we will send you the zoom link before 16th, if you haven’t yet joined the Club, we’ll be live streaming on our Youtube Channel – Buxton Field Club, starting just after 7.00pm.
Hope to see you there.
