This gorgeous weather isn’t going anywhere and next few days are scorchers!
We can’t stress the importance of reminding you how to prevent and deal with heat stroke.
Please don’t take your dogs out for walks in this weather, especially at the hottest times of the day (10am-7pm). It’s not worth the risk!!!
Please don’t allow your dogs to sunbathe in the garden for too long.
NEVER leave dogs in cars.
Make sure your pet has a shaded/covered area and plenty of fresh cool water available at all times.
If you’re concerned that your pet may have heat stroke, contact the practice IMMEDIATELY!!
Signs include panting excessively or struggles with breathing, increased body temperature, drooling and sometimes vomiting. This can lead to collapse, seizures and death.
Enjoy the hot weather safely!!
