Join PDNP Ranger, international adventurer, & life coach, Rob Kenning, as we journey through top-notch White Peak landscape and explore thought-provoking questions together. The walk passes through Bakewell, Ashford, & Magpie Mine near Sheldon.
Born and raised in the Peaks, Rob spent 15 years exploring these questions in mountains, deserts, & jungles around the world, before returning again with more questions than answers! Come prepared for an energetic walk and ready to participate in some friendly & stimulating discussion.
Event Grade: Hard – longer more challenging walks usually with ascents and descents and rough terrain.
Event Terrain: A varied walk on footpaths and farm tracks, with some steep ascents and descents, which can be muddy after rain, rewarded by fine White Peak views.

Near A Bus Route: Yes. Transpeak (TP) bus hourly service to and from Derby, Nottingham, Matlock and Buxton & 2-hourly service to Manchester. The 6.1 service also runs hourly from Derby and Matlock. The 170 service runs hourly to and from Chesterfield, and the 240 and 218 operates to and from Sheffield.
