We’re good to go!
Despite the Government announcement delaying the easing of lockdown, BIF is delighted to confirm that the Festival will be offering more flexible seating plans and more single tickets in all its venues from 21 June to ensure maximum flexibility and safety for festival-goers.
The Box Office will make the unprecedented move of closing on 19 and 20 June so that seats can be reallocated. Seating requests will be processed on a bespoke basis after this time (subject to socially distanced availability).
CEO Michael Williams writes: “We are very proud that Buxton International Festival is going ahead this year and in response to the Government’s announcement yesterday and to public demand, we are revisiting our seating plans to ensure that we can accommodate as many people as we can, as safely as possible. We see our ourselves as trailblazers for post-lockdown festivals not only in the North West but right across the country, so are determined to get this right. If Government guidelines allow, we will also be quick to open up the Festival even wider towards the end of its run.”
