A new, free walking group has been established from CANDO, and we can’t wait to stretch our legs.
Known as ” Focused Walking”, it has been designed by a team of leading academics and practical coaches to enable anyone, even with mild to moderate mobility issues, to gain both physical and mental health benefits from the simple act of walking.
As a friendly, social and easy to do club, sessions can be adapted to virtually all abilities and ages.
Initially, sessions will be held in Buxton Country Park (Pooles Cavern) on Fridays, starting 21st May. Although free of charge, it is necessary to book on the sessions.
