The contest is open to children up to the age of 16 and the winners will have their work displayed in the Green Man Gallery.
David Brindley, Lions secretary, who is one of the orgnaisers of the competition said: “I am a great believer in the value of art and the past year has been a difficult and strange one for everyone and especially the children who haven’t been to school or seen their friends.
“The work will act as a record of the time we have lived through and this competition is a chance for them to show their insight into all the lockdowns. This could be anything from a picture of seeing granny through a window or homeschooling or even masks and not hugging friends.”
