Adrenaline junkies are being invited to take part in an exciting challenge to help raise funds for hospice care across the High Peak and Derbyshire Dales.
Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust are hosting a fundraising abseil at the iconic Millers Dale Bridge in the Peak District National Park, on Sunday 25th April.
The bridge above the River Wye provides a thrilling location for the 80-foot abseil, 90% of which is free hanging above the water below!
All the money raised by participants will go towards providing free hospice care and support to people across the High Peak, Hope Valley, Derbyshire Dales and North East Derbyshire who are affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement.
How to get involved
The minimum age for participants is 10 years and there is no upper age limit. There is a £20 registration fee and £75 minimum sponsorship requirement. Please note that this event is governed by the latest COVID-19 restrictions at the time; anyone who registers to take part will be kept fully up to date.
