Buxton Field Club’s next talk is on Insects, with Steve Orridge Saturday 6th February at 7.00pm on zoom (link below).
Please join us.
With approximately one million insects described so far, and maybe another five million to discover, entomology offers a life time of study. With such a vast subject we can only provide a superficial glimpse at the wonderful world of insects – their history, their diversity and their importance to our well-being and our future.
Steve Orridge has always had an interest in natural history which, luckily, his wife shares! He is fascinated (some would say obsessed) by insects. Retirement has given him time to pursue his interests and he hopes that there will be some things to learn from the presentation!
