Buxton Field Club’s next on-line talk is on Saturday 14th November at 7.00pm with Tesni Ward.
Badgers and Wildlife of the Peak District
Badgers are heavily misunderstood and maligned animals that very few people ever have the pleasure of seeing in the flesh. Those lucky few who have can attest to the fact that badgers are highly intelligent, social and loving creatures that go against almost everything we’re told about them in the media. Tesni Ward has spent 4 years documenting a family of badgers in the heart of the Peak District, spending in excess of 2000 hours with them. Learn more about these wonderful animals along with the other wildlife they share this National Park with.
Tesni Ward is an award winning, professional wildlife photographer and Olympus Ambassador based on the outskirts of the Peak District. While the majority of her work focuses on British wildlife, she also photographs projects across the world and has aspirations to promote conservation and education through her images.
We very much hope you’ll be able to join us.
