During #LonelinessAwarenessWeek, it’s important for us to reach out and talk to the people we know affected by dementia. Whether it’s a chat with the neighbours at the door, a phone call or a socially-distanced sit-down in the garden, a simple conversation really can make all the difference. This is especially true right now, as we know coronavirus has meant people living with dementia and carers are feeling even more isolated.
