From Explore Buxton:
Following the biggest change to the lockdown since it began in March, the government has announced easing of the lockdown measures from the 4th of July and Buxton can finally welcome back visitors 🎉🌈💪 #bouncebackbuxton
From 4th July, businesses including restaurants, cafés, bars, pubs, hotels, B&Bs, holiday apartments & homes, camp sites, cinemas, museums & galleries, hairdressers & barbers can open (there is a full list on gov.uk).
We’re going to be bringing you as much up-to-date information on local businesses and who are open (watch this space!) so you can plan ahead…
***Please bear in mind not all businesses who can open will be open on this date – some will need more time to prepare to welcome you back***
Business are working really hard behind the scenes to make sure they can welcome you back safely, meeting government guidance to be covid-secure but most of all, so you can enjoy the places and things you love best about Buxton again 🤩
Try to plan ahead and please bear in mind our ‘new normal’ environment – things are going to be different so you’ll need to be patient when visiting places (we know you will 😘) and please continue to social distance at 2m (1m+ if 2m is not possible whilst taking precautions such as wearing a mask etc.)
Stay safe and see you soon 🌳🌸🦔🌿🐿🌺🐇
